What Is Swarm Robotics

An approach to the coordination of several robots as a system, swarm robotics is characterized by its use of a large number of fairly straightforward physical robots. It is a subfield of swarm robotics. It is hypothesized that the interactions between the robots, as well as the interactions of the robots with their surroundings, will lead to the emergence of the desired collective behavior.
